Pokémon Mega Evolution - Perfect Order released!

On Friday the 27th of February, Pokémon released the fourth overall expansion of the Mega Evolution series, and the third main Mega Evolution expansion; Perfect Order!

The expansion contains 124 cards in total, with 88 being standard cards while the remaining 36 being Ultra Rares, Illustration Rares, Special Illustration Rares and Mega
Zygarde being the only Mega Hyper Rare in the set. Perfect Order introduces new Mega Pokémon from Legends: Z-A into the TCG, with Mega Zygarde, Mega Starmie, Mega Clefable
and Mega Skarmory making an appearance in the TCG. They are Fighting, Water, Physic, and Steel types respectively.

Perfect Order also contains five new ex Pokémon, Yveltal ex, Decidueye ex, Meowth ex, Lapras ex and Salazzle ex. A total of 4 Mega Pokémon and 5 ex. The set re-releases the
Poké Pad uncommon item card, allowing the user to search their deck for any Pokémon that does not have a rule box, and put it into their hand. The traditional Poké Ball item
card also makes a return, allowing the user to search their deck for any Pokémon if a coin flip results in heads. Pokémon Catcher and the Potion are also re-released, with
all cards in this expansion bearing the 'J' regulation mark. 'G' regulation will rotate out of the Standard Format on the 10th of April this year. Three special energy are
also introduced, Growing (Grass) Energy, Rocky (Fighting) Energy and Telepathic (Physic) Energy. Alongside that, two new fossil item cards are also released, with their
evolutions accompanying; Antique Jaw Fossil, and Antique Sail Fossil, evolving into Tyrunt and Amaura respectively.

A relatively small set, so chances of pulling SIRs have of course, increased. Perfect Order is based around Lumiouse City, with numerous cards featuring artwork from Lumiouse,
and a stadium card with the same name. Meowth ex is a key player in the new expansion, with an ability granting the player the chance to search their deck for a supporter
card upon playing to the bench. What really enhances this ability is Meowth's attack, for three colourless energy, you deal 60 damage, and must put Meowth and all cards
attached back into your hand, thus creating a helpful loop to search for supporters. the ability 'Last-Ditch Call' can only be used once per turn. Zygarde is also supported by
Pokémon Tool, Core Memory, dealing 350 damage for four Fighting energy, but they must be discarded once used.
